Artist Access Days 2015

Coming for 2015

Demonstration Days

Schedule

Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park is located in Gilroy, California. It's a unique horticultural park created and built by Michael Bonfante. He originally envisioned a place where he could share his love of trees with children and the people of his community. The Gardens, home to the world famous Circus Trees created by Axel Erlandson, has more than 400,000 visitors per year. In keeping with Michael Bonfante's community spirit, The Gardens continues to look for ways to support local residents through a variety of programs including education, business outreach, literacy efforts, and the arts. Art in the Park is one such program.

Art in the Park

Each season The Gardens extends the opportunity for artists and photographers to have free access to the park. Artists are invited in to paint, draw or photograph the unique beauty and stunning vistas of this rare horticultural theme park.

Inspiration abounds with Circus Trees, ponds, waterfalls, streams, rock formations, bridges, gardens and topiaries - the creative possibilities are endless. If you're an artist, we welcome you to register for one of our Artist Access Days, or become an Artist Docent and partcipate in Artist Demonstration Days. If you're a parent, we offer art workshops  and photography workshops in the park each week during our summer season for children K-5.
